What is the 5th Element?

Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to deliver their signature event for 2019 – the ‘5th Element Business Series’.

The incredible series features four ‘hour of power’ sessions led by a different panel of local business leaders each time, followed by a fifth all day event at the MECC. This final event will be facilitated by a highly regarded speaker, and a top-secret celebrity guest speaker – details of which are being kept under wraps until late August.

The first event kicking off on 30th July – ‘Earth’, will focus on the topic of finance; incorporating valuable information around budgeting, insurances and loans for small to medium size businesses.

Session Two in August – ‘Fire’, will focus on Human Resources; navigating the complex and rapidly moving world of culture, teamwork and industrial relations.

Also occurring in August, Session Three – ‘Air’, will feature business leaders well-versed in the digital space. Social media and creative marketing strategies will be discussed in this highly valuable session.

The four ‘hour of power’ panels will finish in September with Session Four – ‘Water’, covering the importance of building connections and business networking.

The 5th Element Business Series will conclude with an all-day event at the MECC on October 3rd, where attendees will hear from two extremely well-known business figures (including the top-secret celebrity guest speaker). Securing this guest speaker for the event will be an absolute first for Mackay and one not to be missed.
